We are Church began as a small group of people who came together in a WhatsApp group and online during the second year of the pandemic, July 2021. We began meeting on Zoom and very soon began to meet in person. We started meeting in the James and Ethel Gray Park in Birdhaven. Folk brought their own camping chairs and we simply gathered, enjoyed community and fellowship together around a short teaching.

Shortly after our start up we began a weekly online prayer meeting.

We began looking for a venue as the weather became colder and after trying out a few spaces, we were fortunate to be offered the use of Bellavista School in Birdhaven for our bi-weekly meetings from the beginning of October 2022.
